We are currently supporting a client to recruit for a Registered Manager for their 3 bedded service in Leicester. The service supports young females aged 12-17 years and you would be responsible as the manager for providing a safe and caring environment for the young women in your care and to enable social, emotional and educational development through both group and 121 activities. The opportunity here is very exciting as it is a brand new service so you will be responsible for recruiting a team, empowering the team and together building a positive service with a great reputation. The provider has a couple of other services out of the county and further up North and wants to develop a couple of other services over the next couple of years.
To be considered for the role you must have your Level 4/5 in Social care and have experience of managing children’s services.The role requires a suitable candidate to run the home with an understanding of the nature of the young people and suitably manage their staff to cater for their needs.
This is a full time position of 40 hours per week which may include shifts, weekends and some emergency on call duties. An attractive salary is on offer with a bonus for the right candidate based on experience and qualifications. A full UK driving licence would be desirable.
